How to: Adjust the speed of a sound file.
Solution:
Open the sound file in Sound Recorder, select the 'Effects' menu, and select the desired speed change.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu
2) Select 'Programs' and select 'Accessories'.
3) Select 'Multimedia' and select 'Sound Recorder'. (The 'Sound Recorder' window appears.)
4) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Open...'. (The 'Open' dialog box appears.)
5) In the 'Look in' drop-down list box, select the drive where the sound file is saved.
6) Select the appropriate folder and click 'Open'.
7) Select the sound file and click 'Open'.

8) Do one of the following to adjust the speed:
9) (Optional) Click 'Play' to play the sound file.
10) To save the file, do one of the following:
a) To save the sound file with the same name, select the 'File' menu and select 'Save'. (The file is saved.)
b) To save the file with a new name:
1] Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save As...'. (The 'Save As' dialog box appears.)
2] In the 'Save in' drop-down list, select the drive to which to save the file.
3] Select the appropriate folder in which to save the new sound file and click 'Open'.
4] Type a new name in the 'File name' box and click 'Save'.
